To factory reset, remove the battery cover using the installation tool or a paper clip. Remove one battery, then press and hold the Multi Information button while reinserting the battery. Continue holding until the reset is confirmed.
The lock requires four (4) AA alkaline batteries. It is recommended to replace them once per year using name-brand alkaline batteries. Rechargeable batteries are not recommended.
