1. Ievads

The CallToU Wireless Caregiver Pager System is designed to provide reliable communication between caregivers and individuals requiring assistance. This system is ideal for elderly individuals, patients, or those with disabilities, ensuring help is readily available at the touch of a button. The system includes a plug-in receiver and two portable call buttons.

4. Iestatīšana

4.1. Uztvērēja iestatīšana

1. Unpack the receiver from its packaging.
2. Plug the receiver into a standard AC electrical outlet in a central location where the caregiver can easily hear the alerts.
3. The receiver will emit a sound when powered on, indicating it is ready for use.

4.2 Call Button Preparation

1. The call buttons come with batteries pre-installed.
2. Šņorša piestiprināšana: If desired, attach the lanyard to the call button. Use the provided mini screwdriver to gently pry open the back cover of the call button. Thread the small loop of the lanyard through the designated slot on the back cover, then pass the larger part of the lanyard through the small loop to secure it. Reattach the back cover.

3. Mounting the Call Button: The call button can be worn around the neck using the lanyard, placed on a bedside table, or mounted to a wall using the provided double-sided adhesive stickers. Ensure the button is within reach of the user.

4.3 Pairing Call Buttons (Pre-paired from factory)

The call buttons and receiver are pre-paired at the factory. No manual pairing is typically required for initial use. If you need to add new call buttons or re-pair existing ones, follow these steps:

1. Plug the receiver into an AC socket.
2. On the receiver, press the 'Forward' or 'Backward' key to select your desired ringtone (there are 55 ringtones to choose from).
3. Press and hold the 'Volume' key on the receiver for 5 seconds until the LED flashes and you hear a "ding" sound. This indicates the receiver is in pairing mode.
4. Press the call button you wish to pair. The receiver will make a "ding-ding" sound.
5. Press the call button again to confirm pairing. The receiver will emit the selected ringtone.

5.1 Using the Call Button

To request assistance, simply press the large red 'CALL' button on the portable transmitter. The receiver will immediately sound an alert and flash its LED indicator.

5.2 Adjusting Receiver Settings

The receiver offers customizable settings for ringtones and volume levels.

6.1 Call Button Battery Replacement

The call button uses a 12V battery. When the button's indicator light no longer flashes or the signal range decreases significantly, it's time to replace the battery.

1. Use the provided mini screwdriver to gently pry open the back cover of the call button.
2. Carefully remove the old 12V battery.

7. Traucējummeklēšana

• No alert from receiver:
  • Ensure the receiver is properly plugged into a live electrical outlet.
  • Check if the receiver's volume is set to an audible level (not 0dB).
  • Verify the call button battery is not depleted. Replace if necessary.
  • Re-pair the call button with the receiver following the steps in Section 4.3.
  • Ensure the call button is within the operating range (up to 500 feet in open areas). Walls and other obstacles can reduce range.
• Reduced signal range:
  • Replace the call button battery.
  • Relocate the receiver to a more central position.
  • Avoid placing the receiver near large metal objects or other electronic devices that may cause interference.
• Call button not responding:

  • Ensure the button is not physically damaged.
  • Attempt to re-pair the button with the receiver.
