4. Iestatīšana un instalēšana

1. Enkura punkta izvēle: Identify a structural anchor point capable of withstanding a minimum load of 5,000 lbs (22.2 kN) per worker attached, or meeting the requirements of a qualified person. The anchor point should be located directly overhead for optimal performance.
2. SRL Attachment to Anchor: Connect the top attachment point of the SRL to the selected structural anchor. Ensure the connection is secure and compatible with the anchor point. The OCR on the product image indicates "TO STRUCTURAL ANCHOR PORT" at the top of the device.
3. Instalācijas savienojums: Attach the carabiner or hook at the end of the SRL's cable to the dorsal D-ring of your full-body harness. Verify that the gate of the connector is fully closed and locked.

Once properly installed and connected, the Latchways SRL operates automatically. The cable will extend and retract as you move, maintaining slight tension to eliminate slack. This allows for freedom of movement while ensuring immediate fall arrest capability.

• Move within the working area, allowing the cable to extend and retract smoothly.
• Avoid sudden, jerky movements that could cause the unit to lock unnecessarily.
• In the event of a fall, the internal braking mechanism will engage, arresting the fall. Remain calm and await rescue.
• After a fall, the SRL must be immediately removed from service and returned to an authorized service center for inspection or disposal.

Regular maintenance is crucial for the longevity and safe operation of your SRL.
