1. Physical Installation of the Light Strip

Before attaching the light strip, ensure the installation area on the back of your TV is clean and dry. Use an alcohol prep pad if necessary.

Carefully peel off the adhesive backing from the light strip and firmly press it onto the back of your TV, following the edges. Use the provided mounting clips to secure the light strip, especially at the corners, to ensure a stable and neat installation.

2. Connecting the Sync Box

Connect the light strip to the Type-C ports on the Govee HDMI 2.1 Sync Box. Then, connect your TV to the HDMI ports in the "OUT" zone of the Sync Box. Connect your input devices (PC, streaming box, game console) to the HDMI ports in the "IN" zone. Finally, connect the power supply to the Sync Box.

3. App Pairing and Calibration

Download the Govee Home App from your device's app store. Open the app and follow the on-screen instructions to pair your Govee HDMI 2.1 Sync Box 2. The app will guide you through the calibration process, which involves setting the positions of the lights to match your TV screen for optimal synchronization.
